Retro Recycled Rustic Furniture Maker
This is the stunning Atomic Orange 130cm retro record cabinet and it is made from 18mm E1 grade MDF board and features; *Solid 27mm Oak wood top and skirt *Heavy Duty Hafele recessed soft-close cabinet hinges *Solid Beechwood tapered legs with metal anchor plates *Solid metal nickel silver knobs
The MDF unit is jointed, screw and glued for strength. It is painted on doors, under and sides, but left natural inside. 5mm Beachwood ply back.
The solid Oak is protected with 5 coats of natural Danish oil, 2 hours drying between each, then polished with beeswax to enhance its natural beauty.
The doors have a futuristic chrome metallic disc design feature which sets this apart from anything found on the high street. This record sleeve motif repeats across the face using the most expensive and highest quality chrome vinyls. Soft close pistons are now fitted on the doors for a luxury feel when in use.
The solid Beech wood 30cm tapered legs, which have been made in the UK, are also treated with danish oil, come packed separately inside and simply screw onto the ready mounted metal plates underneath.
Measurements are: 130cm wide, 73 cm high and 41cm deep.
My inspiration for this is the natural world, named after the Greek goddess of the forest, hunting and the animals. This cabinet design reflects the importance of two species that are critical to human life on earth; the green of the forest and the bees are represented by honeycombe.
If you have seen my other designs this is the same low carbon construction and excellent finish detail, is made from 18mm E1 grade MDF board and features;
*Solid 27mm Hardwood top *Heavy Duty recessed soft-close cabinet hinges *Solid brass knurled door handles *Twin metal gold rod legs finished with a knurled base

The doors have a uniquely beautiful honeycomb design feature, to represent the pollinators, which will not be found anywhere on the high street. This precise laser-cut honeycomb motif repeats across the face using the most expensive and highest quality gold metallic vinyls. Soft close hinges are now fitted to the doors for a luxury feel when in use.
Another quality feature is the solid metal 30cm antique gold legs, which come packed separately inside and simply screw into the pre-drilled holes underneath.
